This ruling is a powerful one in what looks to be a changing media landscape, especially as the possible merger of Disney and 21st Century Fox looms on the horizon. Though Disney seems to be facing competition in the form of Comcast, as well as a concerned group of Democrats who have called for Congress to open an investigation into the bid.
